Anti COVID-NET

The Social Distancing Monitor or Anti-CovidNet helps to resolve the problem of silent transfer of the virus from one person to another by providing a complete monitoring and prevention system that could be easily fit to the CCTV cameras working in offices/colleges and provide a real-time analysis along with the proper measures to prevent the spread.

Temperature-face Mask Detector

System initially scan barcode from ID of an employee, Next the same camera is used to detect if the person is wearing a mask or not. This is done with the help of image processing and haar-cascade to give efficient and real time output. A temperature sensor MLX-90614 is then used to monitor the temperature of the person and map it to the corresponding barcode which is read.

Achievments

  • One of the projects in this cell was the "Sanitary Pad Vending Machine," which was developed as a product based on industrial standards and societal needs. This product was on show at the "Google Developers Group Summit 2019" on September 28th at the JW Marriott.
