Institution's Innovation Council 2019 for Students & Faculty

MHRD’s Institution’s Innovation Center is established at SCTR’s Pune Institute of Computer Technology with consideration of various functions and benefits.

IIC Innovation Ambassador

The innovative and one-of-its-kind training program aims at training for faculties in innovation, entrepreneurship, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), design thinking, product development, idea generation, among others. It will make the faculties, change-agents and ambassadors of innovation to make our students future-ready.

Objectives

Functions of Institution’s Innovation Council

To promote innovation ecosystem in institute.
To conduct innovation and entrepreneurship related activities as per guideline provided by MHRD.
To organize seminars, workshops, interaction related to IPR, entrepreneur talk to motivate student entrepreneur.
To organize activities for students like project/idea competition, create awareness of different government schemes available for student entrepreneurs.

Benefits to Institute, Faculty members and Students

Students/Faculties associated with IIC get an opportunity to participate and explore their ideas in events organized by MHRD.
Opportunity to meet Business leaders.
Opportunity to nurture business idea and convert it into prototype by getting seed funding by various agencies.
